About Vets and Kids

Veterans Serving Kids is a local 501 c(3) civic organization not affiliated with any state or

national organization. Formed in 2020, and comprised of Rhea County veterans, and local citizens, we primarily exist for the purpose of giving back to our community in a meaningful way.

We constantly search for creative ways to help our students become successful, responsible, and productive citizens, before transitioning into adulthood. We support with financial assistance to Special Olympics, Best Buddies, and Christmas and Kids programs within our school systems, as well as supporting schools with identified festivals or events to encourage growth within our student body and community. We support students with Scholastic Scholarships annually.
