Our staff & volunteers

Veterans Serving Kids is a local 501 c(3) civic organization not affiliated with any state or

national organization. Formed in 2020, and comprised of Rhea County veterans, we primarily

exist for the purpose of giving back to our community in a meaningful way.

Vets and Kids sponsors a variety of fund-raising events throughout the year.

- Provide assistance to children in financial need

- Facilitate additional Veteran’s Service Organization opportunities

For years, local students have traveled to Washington, DC to learn about U.S. history. Unfortunately, some Rhea County students are unable to attend due to cost. Vets and Kids believe no student should miss out due to a lack of funding. Thus, we are focused on sending as many students as possible on a regular basis.
